Graduate Application Information

Both domestic and international application materials are now available on the World Wide Web. Prospective applicants from all over the world can download to their computer, print out the entire application packet, complete the application, and mail it to The Ohio State University.

International Fellowship due November 30.

CV (2-page limit) or Resume is required in addition to the statement of intent, and it is to be sent directly to The Department of French and Italian, 200 Hagerty Hall, 1775 College Rd., Columbus, OH 43210-1340.

Domestic application due January 15.

Application to be sent to the Graduate Admissions Office:

  1. The online application:http://www.gradapply.osu.edu.
  2. Official transcript or record of marks for each college attended
  3. Official test scores

Applicant should submit directly to the Department of French and Italian Graduate Program Office:

  1. Official transcript for each college attended
  2. Statement of intent
  3. Three letters of recommendation written on recommenders' original letterhead stationery, accompanied by completed Ohio State Reference Form.
  4. Curriculum vitae or resume no longer than two pages
  5. Department GTA application
