Daniel Paul (Graduate Teaching Associate, The Ohio State University) works on contemporary Italian cinema and culture. In addition to teaching Italian language courses, he has also acted as a Teaching Assistant in large undergraduate lectures and has taught a recitation section for Italian 2053.

His interests include teen films and road movies, trauma, gender studies, and representations of masculinity. He has a minor in Post-Unification Italian literature and an interdisciplinary specialization in Film Studies. He is currently working towards completion of his dissertation on representations of masculinity in Italian teen film.
