Conversation Hours/Free Tutoring

In Autumn 2019, free individual Italian tutoring and conversation practice will be offered at the following times. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the door at the beginning of each session. When all time slots are taken, the session is closed. Conversation and tutoring hours begin in the second week of the semester and continue through the last day of classes.

For every 3 conversation sessions you attend, 1% is added to your final course grade, up to a maximum of 3%. You may attend only one conversation session per day. There is no extra credit for tutoring.

The last 3 weeks of classes are in high demand, so begin accumulating conversation points early in the semester. Attendance at selected events of the Italian department or of the Italian Club may be counted as the equivalent of an extra-credit conversation session. Watch the Announcements on Carmen for news about these events.
