Italian Individualized Instruction

Italian Individualized Instruction is an online alternative to the classroom track. Students work at their own pace in this program and can register for 1-4 credit hours per semester. Students who complete the full number of credit hours of one course before the end of the semester may proceed to the next level. Our offerings consist of  IT 1101.61, 1102.61 and 1103.61.

Progress is sequential from one credit hour to the next, with proficiency at the level of 80% on written and oral tests required for advancement. Regular activities such as conversations, online workbook exercises, writing assignments and self-tests are part of the program.

Monday-Friday 7 am-4 pm online appointments via Skype provide students with flexible scheduling. Instructor Carla Onorato Wysokinski is an Italian native speaker who lives in Rome, Italy.
