He holds a doctorate from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) where he was a lecturer before being selected in 2012 as Professor at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. NDiaye is a pioneer of "Black Studies" in French, and co-founded the Circle of Action for the Promotion of Diversity in France (CAPDIV) with Patrick Loze.
