Public Earth Day Participatory Parade

previous parade showing people walking on the trail
Wed, April 22, 2026
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
South Oval

Join us on Wednesday, April 22nd at 3:30pm for this public participatory parade. Our parade route will start on the South Oval behind Hale Hall, and follow the route of the now-buried Niel Run Stream all the way from the South Oval to Iuka Ravine (<1 mile total).

Like last year, this parade includes floats, costumes, and banners all inspired by our local landscape ecology and made by OSU campus community members. You can see documentation of our previous shenanigans here: @ OSU Earth Day Gallery

If you have a creative offering to share in our procession, reach out to me at kline.434@osu.edu and we'll fold you into the fray! We'll be sharing more information and a full list of participating partners, classes, and clubs closer to the event date.

Thanks for your attention, and I hope you'll join us for our upcoming environmental celebration!
