The French Center of Excellence was pleased to host visiting Professor André Leblanc to discuss his current research on a project entitled Modernity of Madame de Staël and the Coppet Group. Professor Leblanc's talk centered on themes of French literature, social progress, conscience, and what he termed "perfectibility".
