Join us for a reading by Maboula Soumahoro of her already-classic book, "Black is the Journey, Africana is the Name." She will also provide commentary. 

Soumahoro is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Tours in France, and an International Visiting Scholar of English at Bennington College for the 2022-2023 academic year. She is also the author of "Le Triangle et l'Hexagone," and is an expert on race, religion, the African Diaspora, and Rastafarianism.
