The Department of French and Italian at Ohio State will host local high school students on campus.
Activities will be focused on the Italy's longstanding tradition of creativity, geniality and innovation that have shaped Italian language and promoted its know-how across disciplines and industries. Fashion, science, design, creative writing, art, manufacturing, business models are just some of the fields where Italian evolved, transformed, and reshaped our lives. This Immersion Day will include an engaging Lecture on the many faces and storytelling of "lingua geniale", an interactive game-design on Settimana della Lingua project, an olive oil tasting, and digital storytelling of Tuscan agro-economic invention!
