Colleagues in the Center for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures:

I am pleased to announce that Executive Dean Gretchen Ritter has appointed Professor Janice Aski of the Department of FRIT as interim director of the CLLC from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.  Dean Ritter, Divisional Dean-designate Dana Renga, and I are delighted that Janice has agreed to this appointment!

Allow me to acknowledge Glenn Martinez for his remarkable service as CLLC director.  Under his leadership, the center made substantial contributions to the college’s pursuit of excellence in research and teaching. Thanks, Glenn, and best wishes in your deanship at UT San Antonio!
