Welcome to another year at Ohio State in the Department of French & Italian! We warmly welcome all new students and welcome back our continuing students! This edition of the Frontiere newsletter will focus on Summer 2024 experiences from our undergraduate and graduate students, new faces, and what we hope to accomplish in AY25.
We are gearing up for an exciting year in FRIT. Our slate of courses on offer in Spring 2025 include an interesting mix of language, literature, culture, film, and more in the GE sequence and for majors and minors in FRIT. The French Center of Excellence and Department are co-hosting several speakers in the Spring 2025 semester, each of whom will give talks on important topics relating to French & Francophone literature and culture. Our course offerings are becoming more and more interesting and relevant in today's ever-changing social environment. And our graduate students and faculty are producing incredible scholarly work.
