Professor Lorenzo Fabbri, McKnight Land-Grant Associate Professor of French and Italian at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, will be on campus to give a talk about his new book Cinema is the Strongest Weapon (University of Minnesota Press, 2023).FIGSA will moderate a presentation of Dr. Fabbri's book, which explores the banality of evil and asks big questions like why ordinary Italian citizens collaborated with totalitarianism, white supremacy, antisemitism, and colonialism. The Department of French & Italian Graduate Student Association (FIGSA) is pleased to announce the Spring 2024 semester lecture in Italian Studies.
