Rebecca Bias is the Assistant Director of the Center for Languages, Literatures and Cultures and Director of the CAAP Program. CAAP is an early assessment program for Ohio high school students of Spanish, French, German and Chinese. Rebecca received her Ph.D. in French Cinema and Technology in the Language Classroom from Ohio State in 2005. In addition to coordinating monthly career building events for undergraduate and graduate students, she supervises the CLLC Technology Certificate Program for graduates. Rebecca also serves on the Ohio Department of Education TAG and CLEP committees. Each fall semester Rebecca teaches the innovative course, CLLC Radio, where language majors and minors in French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Modern Greek train to be radio DJs and broadcast live worldwide in the target language.
