Join the Ohio State University's Rare Books & Manuscripts Library (RBML) and the Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies (CMRS) as Jessica Crabtree, PhD candidate in English, introduces one of the earliest surviving textual witnesses to the Book of Daniel in Latin, an early-8th century manuscript that was loaned to the university for use in CMRS's autumn 2024 "Medieval Manuscript Studies" course. In addition to Jessica Crabtree's talk, the featured manuscript will be on display alongside a range of other original medieval artifacts from RBML's collections. This event is free and open to the public.
