A Musical Salon
Join the Department of French and Italian on Wednesday, November 9th at 6 PM at the Timashev Family Music Building for A Musical Salon with opera singer Benjamin Alunni and pianist Fernando Palomeque, with an introduction by music scholar Vincent Giroud. As part of their US tour, French opera singer Benjamin Alunni and pianist Fernando Palomeque will stop in Columbus to present their Musical Salon, a 90-minute recital for tenor focusing on the friendship between France and the US. In A Musical Salon, we will listen to music by composers from both sides of the Atlantic, such as Amy Beach, Maurice Ravel, Samuel Barber, Nadia Boulanger, and many others.
The event is free and is open to all!
