The French and Italian Graduate Student Association (FIGSA) Presents: A Talk with Line Papin

Join FIGSA and Line Papin on Tuesday, October 3 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in Hagerty Hall 062 or on Zoom for a talk about her English-language debut book, The Girl Before Her, a work of autofiction that addresses topics of displacement, diaspora, and identity.

Born in Hà Nội and now writing in Paris, Line is the author of five critically acclaimed novels: L’éveil (2016, Winner of the Vocation Prize), Toni (2018), Lesos des filles (2019, Winner of the Readers’ Prize of Le Livre de Poche), Le Coeur en laisse (2021), and Une vie possible (2022).
