Rosa Di Grottole graduated in 2008 in Cultural Heritage and Preservation Studies (BA) from the University of Florence. In 2009 she received a scholarship to study at the Sorbonne University and moved to Paris where she worked on her thesis’s research for six months.
She holds a M.A. cum Laude in Art History from the University of Florence and a M.A. cum Laude in Teaching Italian to foreigners from the University Ca’ Foscari in Venice. Her last research focused on Intercultural Competence through the use of comics.
More recently she successfully completed a Neurolanguage Coaching course accredited by ICF (International Coaching Federation), enhancing her ability to offer students a more efficient and personalized learning approach.
Rosa has been teaching Italian for several years in various institutions such as Columbus State Community College, Ohio State University and Italian Dream Academy (IDA), a private language school in Columbus, Ohio.
Rosa currently is the Lead Instructor and the Academic Director at IDA. At OSU, in addition to lecturing for the Italian Department, she is the Assistant Director of the Italian Basic Language Program.
