Mattéo Jung is a third-year PhD student, interested in pedagogy and self-writing; his research explores the dialogue between authors and their childhood memories within fictional space. He is also a passionate teacher of French as a foreign language, for whom error and play are necessary ingredients in second language learning, and he is interested in alternative pedagogies, in particular the place of hip-hop in schools.

Mattéo graduated from the University of Strasbourg in June 2019 with a B.A. in Management and Economics and a B.A. in International Affairs. He spent a semester of his junior year studying at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, and during college he also spent time in Germany (Kehl) and Romania (Bucharest) on internships. After his graduation, Mattéo decided to take a year off in order to commit to a music group project: Sexy et Dangereux, a French rap mixtape which brings together music, video and graphic design enthusiasts from Strasbourg (https://li.sten.to/SexyEtDangereux).
